Thank you very much for sharing this. I believe it was you who prompted my post showing all the JO's are available online.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, it is a well-known fact, at least for anyone who used to read the JO's that Artscroll was initially a publisher of English/Hebrew graphics, such as benchers, Kesubos etc. That is why you see them advertising for authors who wanted both English and Hebrew side-by-side in their works.
When R Mayer Fogel passed away, the stage was all set and R Meir Zlotowitz honored his memory by publishing the English/Hebrew Megillah in time for the Shloshim. The rest is history.
