Artscroll has published Yeshaya, to complement their ongoing Prophets series. This volume joins with Yehoshua/Shoftim, Shmuel I,II and Melachim I,II.
These volumes are beautiful to behold, as a new translation and new typeset of the classic Meforshim is a welcome addition to any library.

Is it an addition or merely an edition?!? Why was this even necessary? What was lacking in the old Artscroll Yeshaya???

DeleteThis is different from the older Artscroll Neviim which were primarily translation anthologies.
This is probably designed to corner the market for those who learn Navi in school, and need Rashi, Radak, Metzudos etc.
